The 10-Day Journey with Bappa is a thoughtfully designed, screen-free Ganesh Chaturthi program that helps children discover the stories, meaning and traditions associated with Bappa - one day at a time.

Instead of giving children one big book to finish, the journey unfolds across 10 days, keeping curiosity and excitement alive throughout the festival.

Every day brings together a new story, something to think about, something to discover, something to create and something to complete.

What will your child do each day?

Each day's journey combines different kinds of activities, including:

• Stories about Bappa and the traditions around Ganesh Chaturthi

• Bappa's Little Lesson to connect the story with a simple takeaway

• Did You Notice? questions for memory and comprehension

• I Wonder / My Idea activities that encourage children to think beyond the story

• A short 5-minute prayer and chanting moment

• Puzzles and challenges such as sequencing, matching, mazes, word activities and drawing

• Let's Discover prompts that encourage children to explore and research

• A coloring page inspired by the day's story

• A reflection page to record what they learnt, enjoyed or still wonder about

• A Day Completion Checklist

• A little glimpse of the next day's adventure

So children aren't only reading about the festival — they are thinking, questioning, creating, discovering and participating in it.

Learning hidden inside the celebration

The activities have been intentionally designed to help children practice skills such as:

• Reading & comprehension
• Memory & attention to detail
• Creative thinking
• Logical reasoning
• Problem-solving
• Research & curiosity
• Fine motor skills
• Self-expression & reflection
• Focus & mindfulness

There are no marks, tests or pressure to get everything “right.” Many activities are designed to let children form their own ideas and answers.

Why 10 separate days?

Because the anticipation is part of the experience.

Give your child only one day's journey at a time. Let them complete it, wonder what comes next and wait for the next day's adventure.

By Day 10, they haven't simply finished a set of worksheets — they have travelled through an entire 10-day journey with Bappa.

Designed to be screen-free

The program is intentionally created as a print-and-use experience.

Print the pages, bring out the pencils and colors, and let children spend some meaningful time away from screens during Ganesh Chaturthi.

Stories can technically be read on a tablet or other device, but for the intended experience, we recommend printing the program and allowing children to interact with it on paper.

10 Day Folders — one for each day of the Ganesh Chaturthi journey

Your purchase includes a ZIP folder delivered to your email containing:

Each day's program is approximately 8–10 pages and is supplied in:

• A4 size

• US Letter size

Simply choose the format that works for your printer.

For the best experience, print one day's program at a time rather than handing your child all 10 days together.

Parents, grandparents and teachers can join too

Children can complete many of the activities independently, but some of the richest moments can come from doing parts of the journey together.

Read a difficult shloka with them. Discuss what they noticed in a story. Listen to their unusual ideas. Help them research something they became curious about. Talk about what they wrote on their reflection page.

The program can also be used by teachers and children's cultural groups, where children can enjoy the activities together.
